Majoring in music and math education.

 

BIO:     

             Kielty Wintersteen began studying cello in elementary school with Sister Marcella Steffes and was a member of the La Crosse Central High School Chamber Orchestra for four years.  She was also a member of Busya Lugovier’s string quartet.  Kielty attended Suzuki Camp every summer except the last two years in high school, when she went to the Midwest Youth Artist Camp in Chicago. 

 

             In the Fall of 2008, Kielty began at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, where she is majoring in music.  She is currently studying with Csaba Onczay and playing in the University Orchestra.
