Maureen also attended Bowdoin International Music Festival, a renowned six-week summer music study program at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.

Maureen began playing with the La Crosse Youth Symphony Orchestra already in fourth grade. She also

played in the Minnesota Youth Symphony Orchestra in the Twin Cities, where she was one of eight finalists in a recent concerto contest. She is a past member of the Wisconsin All-State Honors Orchestra, has played with the Symphony Orchestra of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, and was a member of Busya Lugovier's string quartet at Viterbo University. Maureen of course also belonged to the Central High
